To access the battery you need to open the seat. The seat release mechanism is underneath the seat, on the back left. Pressing it unlocks the seat and allows the seat to be lifted up.

Underneath the seat you will find the battery, which needs to be inspected prior to use. Remove it from its holder using the metal handle and inspect it on all sides for damage. If it appears damaged, do not use it and contact us for next steps.

If the battery is free of damage, return it to its holder and plug it in using the battery cable.
