Replacing the BrakeUpdated 8 hours ago
Remove Brake Lever From Handlebar
The brake lever is connected to the handlebar by two screws, which need to be removed.
Remove the Brake from the Wheel
The brake is secured to the wheel with two bolts which need to be removed.
Disconnect the Motor Shut-Off
The brake has a electrical connection to the motor, ensuring that when the brake is pulled the motor is switched off (so they don't work against each other). Follow the electrical wire from the brake handle inside the plastic housing (which you will need to remove). The brake connection (for the front brake) is a pair of green and black wires. Unplug them and remove them so that you can remove the brake.
To install the new brake, repeat the above steps in reverse.
