5. Taking the Scooter Off the Frame BaseUpdated a month ago

The scooter is secured to the frame by a metal wire at two points, on either side of the rear wheel. To detach the scooter can untwist the wire and then remove it. The wire is quite tough as well as sharp and we recommend using pliers (and if doing it by hand at least using gloves).

Once you have removed the metal wires you can detach the axle from the front of the frame. This requires the two large pliers, using the smaller one to hold one end of the axle steady, whilst the larger one is used to unscrew the bolt. Once you have removed the axle you can then lift the scooter off the frame.
